Does anyone have a theme quilt picture you might share with me to use in my Theme Quilt Design Quilting Class I am writing right now? Any theme quilt at all, quilted or unquilted. Credit will be given if I use it in my class as an example. I will also share any designs if chosen to be included in the class as a sample, too.
If you can help me out, I would be most grateful. Just leave a comment and I will contact you. Thank you, Carla
Would you like to use my Leaves Around the Cabins quilt? It is a queen size quilt of Maple Leaves and log Cabin blocks. It is quilted and it has been published as a pattern in a patchwork magazine here in the UK.
Hi Sue, I can’t remember if I email you yet, so I thought I would email you to say thank you and let you know my email address.
I would love to use any theme quilt top or quilt that you have. Also, let me know how you want to be credited if I am able to use it.
Thanks, Carla
I just finished quilting a ‘jungle’ themed baby quilt. I ‘hid’ animals in the quilting and added Suzanne’s meandering fern in the background. I used monopoly on top, so the quilting only shows on the back….I’ll send you some pics as soon as I get them out of the camera and you are welcome to use it or not as you see fit!
Dara
Hi Dara, I would love to use your pictures!! Send pics of any tops or quilts that you have. Thanks, carla
I have a cowboy themed quilt that is almost finished being quilted. i did not make the quilt but it was given to me for Austin to quilt for entry into MQXs Kids Can Quilt. However, he still has not finished it. He gets that from his mom!
Need to give some thought to whether or not there are others in my collection of tops. Oh, there is an Autumn themed quilt. Putting my thinking cap on now….
Carla,
I have a Fourth of July quilt you might be able to use… and another one, also. It’s an ocean quilt for a client’s son who surfs.
I can send you some pics, and you can decide. : )
I have a fall pumpkin applique log cabin quilt top…. and a little girl tea party quilt top. I can send pictures, and you can decide.
You can use the Egyptian quilt. I also have a quilt I designed with lots of African animals. Let me know.
I have designed several theme quilts you can use. A library quilt, a quilt about families, a silhouette dog quilt… let me know..
Thank you all, the more theme quilt tops or quilts the better. I want to show in my class interesting designs for a wide variety of quilts.
I would love more, so just leave a comment and I will email you.
I have pictures I can share of several quilts I have designed that you are welcome to view and decide if you want to use. For kids I have an alphabet, and a a sheep quilt. I also have a Japanese inspired quilt using fabric origami.
Carla, I’ve just discovered your blog, and your quilting is amazing! Thank you for sharing all those wonderful quilt photos.
I have a queen sized cat themed quilt I made my our 25th wedding anniversary. It also includes our favorite colors. I’d be thrilled to share it with others. I also have a halloween themed French Braid quilt. And my mom has made several themed quilts – Wizard of Oz, animals, a family tree.

Carla,
I have a redwork “Winter wonderland” quilt… Snowmen & star blocks in border…. Let me know!
If you go and look on my banner of my blog, I created that quilt a few months ago and am trying to market it.
I also have a turtle quilt I do.
Thanks,
I’m a designer living in Alaska and I specialize in theme quilts. You may have seen my Zebra and Wolf Song quilts on a recent Fons and Porter Love of Quilting. Zebra was also in the Sept 2009 issue of the magazine.
I love strong focal and themed fabrics, especially of animals. If you know of any great ones coming out, I’d love to hear about it!
I also worked on the design of some great focal fabrics – They are out of print, and now reprinted for Alaska shops only – The Last Frontier by Robert Kaufman contains two of my pieces.
Please check out my website. If you want to use any of my designs for your class, I would be happy to give permission.
Lisa
I have been trying to find the dirctions for your Zebra quilt. Do you know where I could find one?
I just love the zebras and I think the quilt would be great for other fabrics too.
I didn’t see where to find your web site. I hope a search will work.
thanks

Hello!
I make lots of themed quilts, so you can check out my blog if you like. http://mrsmoen.blogspot.com
I design row by row quilts with a theme. I have an Americana one, spring one, and autumn/Thanksgiving one. I also have an adorable (but unquilted) Halloween quilt that was made from round robin blocks. You may also be interested in my frog quilt blocks, or my “Friends and Flowers” round robin quilts.
Email me and I’ll send you links to the photos on my blog.
Oh, yes, I also have a very cute Buggy Barn Cats quilt in which I added collars, eye glasses, and bows. I may even have more because I LOVE quilts with a theme.
Interested in quilts with a farm/ranch/cowboy/cowgirl theme? I have a few, plus I’ve done some custom quilts that have a theme. You can see some of them on my website: http://www.prairiemoonquilts.com, or I can possibly send you pictures of some others.
