Hello! I thought I would show you what I started last night and just finished. This week, my mornings are spent machine quilting, however, my afternoons I like to switch gears and move to something else. I love the colors in this one:
I am considering making up a dozen or so, then offering them for purchase later on. Think they would sell?
Here’s a close-up picture:
I also like to display them in my studio on a cool armature I found. This image is a bit dark, but you can still see what I mean:
So… what’s your opinion…. think these one-of-a-kind scarves are marketable?
Enjoy your day, I think I’ll start another one. Hugs, Carla
Hi Carla,
I certain do think they are marketable and if some odd reason others do not, well then you have pre-made gifts for family and friends!
Were you thinking about different colorways as well? I liked the greens/pinks and beige/tans you picked out recently. I wouldn’t mind seeing a freeform scarf with that colorway.

Ok, my age is showing….I thought it was beige but it turns out it was yellow/greens and such….here is the link:

I think of those as “Carla colors” so of course they it’s beautiful! I agree with Karen, they are marketable.
yes, I think they are marketable…
Since I just saw this the other day IRL — “I” would definately BUY one! 🙂
Love the color, style …and the designer is ‘Fierce’!
Thank you!! The check is in the mail! LOL Molly, I can teach you how to make your own when we go to Tahoe! LOL
Thanks for the feedback. On my “to do” list is to open my etsy shop. I need to make stuff though.
YEP — you could sell these and I LOVE THE COLORS!!
Yep yep yep…. very marketable, sign me up for a tone on tone, earthy one for my canadian scarf lover pal:)
Sell them? Hmmm. Let me walk around wearing one for a little bit…. we’ll see if we can drum up some business!
