Later in the day: Ronda guessed correctly!! Yes, a new iphone as an early anniversary present!! I love it so far, it does so much!
To be honest, I love technology way more than diamonds- LOL So far, I have used the iphone to call my son (he’s on vacation in Boston), listened to my itunes playlist, watched a video, looked at pictures, took a pictures, looked at directions, maps, read my email and saw my blog online! All with one little gizmo??? WOW!
I still remember when I was a young girl, TV was B&W, had knobs, and only 6 stations. Phones were rotary dialed only and connected to the wall. Technology has come a long way since then.
OK, I do admit I am a tad spoiled by Joe. Especially since in a few weeks we are going on the catamaran to the BVI. Our 25th anniversary is not until November officially, so I have that long to figure out what to get him in return.
Now I need to figure out a way to stop fiddling with it and do something artsy! Speaking of art, my watercolor supplies arrived today!
Tonight is the local Brewfest in the next town. A few dozen microbreweries set up shop in stores, they close the downtown street to traffic and there are at least 4 bands playing music. I’ll take my camera and see if I can capture the street scene for you.
